In the extremely unlikely event that it is suggested that this is not the case, we may ask for the written opinion (on official letterhead) of two competent authorities, acceptable to us; these opinions will be at the purchaser's costs. We may then gain the opinion of a further expert at our cost. If, on the balance of the opinions received, we consider that doubt exists, we may offer a full refund of the purchase price. This will be the customer's sole course of remedy. In no event will our liability to a purchaser exceed the purchase price actually paid.
This guarantee is limited to the original purchaser only and for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The item must be in its original frame and should not have been tampered with in any way without our prior written permission.
