Henry Ford Original Signature
- Henry Ford signature presentation - 1916 Ford party programme
- Approximate overall dimensions 48 x 64 cm
- Classic antiqued gold frame complemented by double black mount and gold fillet
- Certificate of Authenticity
Don't be deceived - there is far more to this signature presentation than first meets the eye! What you can see here is a vintage black and white portrait image of Henry Ford mounted alongside his signature. But the real hidden gem is the brochure/programme for the 1916 Ford party which was complimentary to all Branch Managers and Assistant Branch managers who attended. The programme, although not visible here, accompanies the photographic presentation and measures 26 x 32cm. Although showing some signs of wear it is in remarkable condition for it's age. It is a rare and marvellous insight into this era of Ford's history and includes the menu for the evening, program of entertainment for the evening, guest list and an autograph page which has been signed by Henry Ford. Indeed this is the original signature and has been copied for illustrative purposes in the photographic presentation.
Wonderful piece of motor memorabilia and an extremely collectible item. We have included some scanned images of the brochure's pages but If you require any further images of the brochure itself, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Henry Ford, July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947. He was an American industrialist, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, and sponsor of the development of the assembly line technique of mass production. His introduction of the Model T automobile revolutionized transportation and American industry. As owner of the Ford Motor Company, he became one of the richest and best-known people in the world. He is credited with "Fordism": mass production of inexpensive goods coupled with high wages for workers. Ford had a global vision, with consumerism as the key to peace. His intense commitment to systematically lowering costs resulted in many technical and business innovations, including a franchise system that put dealerships throughout most of North America and in major cities on six continents. Ford left most of his vast wealth to the Ford Foundation but arranged for his family to control the company permanently.
