Millvina Dean, who was the last survivor of the Titanic, has personally signed this commemorative postcard measuring 13 x 8cm.
Our stunning presentation includes a black and white image of Millvina Dean in her mother's arms a few weeks after the disaster and also a black and white image of the ill-fated RMS Titanic, which sank on 15 April 1912.
Millvina was only 10 weeks old when the Titanic sank on April 15, 1912 after hitting an iceberg on its maiden voyage from England to New York City. Millvina boarded the ship as a third-class passenger in Southhampton, England along with her parents and an older brother, Bertram. The family was travelling to Wichita, Kansas where her father was set to open a tobacco shop.
Millvina, along with her mother and brother escaped the sinking ship in lifeboat 10 and were all rescued and returned to England aboard the SS Adriatic. Millvina's father's body, if recovered, was never identified.
